What is Phishing Attack?

A phishing attack is a deception used to steal user data including but not limited to various login details, debit or credit card numbers, etc, it is also known as a social engineering attack.

Phishing happens when an attacker pretends to be a trusted party and urges the victim to open an email or chat message.

The email recipient is then tricked into clicking a deceptive link, that can lead to a malware attack, which can steal your sensitive information by executing unauthorized programs on your system.
